Site notes

A small, fast site built around one recurring search intent.

IPL points table pages do not need bloat. They need a trustworthy table, clear explanations, and enough surrounding structure for both readers and search engines.

Project model

This site is intentionally static. To refresh a season snapshot, edit data/points-table.json and rebuild.

Delivery model

Static HTML, CSS, brand assets, and analytics snippets generated from one content source and one table JSON file.

Built for a focused use case

This project is a keyword-specific static site. The homepage handles the primary intent, while supporting pages answer the adjacent questions that usually follow: scoring rules, NRR, and playoff scenarios.

That structure gives the site topical depth without turning it into a generic sports portal.

One JSON file controls the table

The standings live in a local data file, which makes maintenance obvious. Change the season label or the team rows, rebuild the pages, and publish the new snapshot.

That is a better fit for a lean SEO project than wiring in a brittle live feed from day one.

Independent reference, not official league media

The site is an independent reference designed for clarity and speed. It is not presented as an official IPL product or franchise property.

That matters both editorially and visually, so the design language is original instead of trying to imitate the official broadcast ecosystem.
